MFS Multifunctional Frame System
For those who like to keep it simple or produce the embroidery/application in advance on a preFrame and rework an individually customized badge in a second step. Multifunctional Frame System is one part of AFS range and makes the application simple! Thanks to the specifically defined working area, the precise registration placements on the contour edges are easily located. Set the satin fixing stitches, which have been incorporated in the original digitized design - the AFS and your pre-set programme do the rest. The resulting satin stitch is the only contact the badge will have to the skin - so no scratching and more comfortable to wear.
MFS is a standard square embroidery industry frame and a two part removable frame to hold and fix the position
of individual PreFrames. Badges or name patches can now be made on the PreFrames, fully embroidered or, if the logo has to be customized, it
can be left in the PreFrame and embroidered with an individual name afterwards. Everything is embroidered in advance, apart from the satin
stitch border, which will be the fixing stitches for the badge onto the garment. By working in a specifically defined area, the precise registration placements are simple to find. With the same frame, you
can produce the embroidery in advance and rework an individually customized badge in a second step on a finished item. Additional
cutting work is not necessary, just like with the large AFS (Automatic Frame System).
This is how it’s done:
- Place the metal insert into the plastic base frame
- Place the holes of the Pre-Frame containing a pre-prepared embroidery onto the tracks
- Place part 2 of the metal insert frame over and onto the tracks, then lock the whole frame inlay using the locks
- Frame the item of clothing in the plastic base frame
- Use the embroidery machine to satin stitch the pre-embroidered badge onto the garment
- The finished badge is now cleanly stitched on the finished item
